Sales and Admissions Associate

About the role

School16 is reinventing the higher education model, and we’re looking for our first sales hire to help us identify and recruit highly promising students that are interested in landing non-technical opportunities in tech.

Our programs have been developed and tested at top Universities as well as venture accelerators and funds, including NYU’s Entrepreneurial Institute, Venture for America, Starta Ventures, State University of New York, and more.

Our network of instructors and speakers include tech leaders at public and private companies like Google, Facebook, Slack, and Amazon and all programs are designed and run by practitioners to help students achieve tangible career results.

This is an opportunity to get in at the ground level of a startup with a founding team that has experience across higher education, media, venture capital and technology. You’ll be working directly with the company founders who have a deep background in sales to help us reach our next growth milestone with the opportunity to shape our sales and admissions process.

What you'll do
  • Execute a weekly outreach and follow up strategy to drive a predictable pipeline of prospective students through our interview and admission process leveraging email, LinkedIn, and more
  • Help craft compelling email marketing copy designed to drive new qualified leads
  • Become an expert in our education offering to be the first point of contact for all students that express interest in or apply directly to our program
  • Consistently follow up with prospective students over the phone to evaluate fit and educate them on the opportunities that our program provides.
  • Manage and update our newly implemented CRM system to ensure accurate sales forecasting for the founding team and advisory board
