Technology Career Acceleration
Program Details

Outcomes

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the four core roles in tech.
  • Develop your network with professionals in the field.
  • Gain tangible experience through experiential learning modules.
  • Graduate with a detailed career plan to help you execute against your personal goals.

Program Description

The Technology Career Acceleration Program is structured as a rotational experience to expose you to everything from marketing to product creating a well-rounded set of skills that will make you a highly effective member of any technology team.

Unlike with other industries, technology companies move fast and prioritize cross-functional skills and the ability to quickly solve a variety of problems. This is why you often see people moving from Sales to Product, or Customer Success to Marketing. No matter your background and experience, we will help you develop the skills and confidence to gain access to the best opportunities.

The curriculum consists of three main session types.

General career classes to help you develop a personal brand and narrative that employers will seek out
Specialized role awareness classes that teach you the most important principles of a given role in tech
Experiential classes that put what you learn into immediate practice to help build out your resume

Classes typically run 90 minutes to two hours.

Who It's For

This program is for anyone that's interested in pursuing a non-technical career in the technology sector. While learning how to code can be a useful skill for anyone, there's currently a major talent gap for high income jobs in the tech sector that don't require programming experience.

Roles across product, operations, marketing, and sales are also more open to candidates from non-traditional backgrounds, allowing for more rapid career progression than other fields.

Program Cost

School16 offers flexible payment options and opportunities to learn risk free.

The full tuition is $1,900 and all students automatically get considered for need based scholarships with the option of repaying tuition in monthly installments. If you're currently unemployed and you do not receive a scholarship you have the option of deferring payment until you get a job.
